The Weather Channel: Forecast App Reviews

I used the (discontinued) WCmax app for years. It was well organized and intuitive to navigate. This update requires much scrolling and expanding to find the details I need, and leaves me with more questions than answers... Barely tolerable.

The app provides really good weather information but the order to which it is presented in the app makes you have to scroll down a lot to get basic information & maps I use. If there was a way to order the forecasts, maps & info the way the end user wanted, it would probably be an awesome app! As it is, it feels clunky...

Like the local info by zipcode and severe weather warnings. Dont like that the video taking up huge space on my iPhone widget is never about our side of the US. Allergy info and ski conditions are also really helpful.

I like the app but wish the ads could be reduced and the forecast video would be more accurate for my particular location

I still check the weather with this app almost every day since it is still the best weather app. The latest updates have made the app harder to use. Now for the 15 day report, I need to click on each day to get details ( the detail for today used to show up under the list on the home screen and it was quick to switch from day to day without leaving the home screen) now each day a new page has to load up which takes more time and data.

The weather channel is the best forecast which I use to do perfect many of my public and private affairs.

Hi everybody out there! You guys probably think of the app The Weather Channel " NOT GOOD". But I just learned a lot of awesome things about the weather app that I never saw before! But on all iPhones it gives you a weather app. I have always wanted to delete that app ever since my dad told me to get this one. I hope you liked my review and have a great day! Use it everyday and its very accurate.

Its ok. Not as accurate at times. Still rating it as have not had it that long.

Quick to start, and has most info I want immediately handy.

Great when it works. The 4 out of 5 times it wants to crash upon launch....... Well at this point its clear no one wants to fix this issue. Until then crap app gets crap rating........

I dont know how people do it before this app , but I literally check my app every morning first thing i open my eyes :)

I use to love the previous version of this app. It was a mainstay on my phone. But I have deleted it after not being able to take how horrible it is any longer. I have switched to Accuweather and it is much better than your app now. In fact, your app is so frustrating and over useless that I would rather just get a weather rock and use it before I use this app again. Way to screw something that was great up. The good idea fairy that came up with this version to fired!

I was pretty bummed when TWC discontinued its original app & then told me I could only use this one for a year at no cost. I am getting used to it, but I dont like change.

Love this weather app. Its easy to use and accurate.

I still like the app and use it daily.

I enjoy the historical data on my Mac that isnt available on my phone. The app is really pretty accurate but the ads sometimes are so distracting. I know its free so you have to accept that. I rely on this app the most for my weather reports.

The weather channel app is the most comprehensive app for weather news. Easy to use and save favorite locations.
